Sailing at Water sports association Bestevaer

While you explore the surroundings by rental boat or bike, your children can enjoy the holiday of a lifetime at Watersports Club Bestevaer. Book your stay and give your kids this unforgettable experience.
The water at this club is ideal for teaching children to sail: small sheltered bays for beginners in the one-person dinghy Optimist. For older youth and advanced sailors there is an open connection to Lake IJsselmeer, where they sail the new RS Zests or the Splash.

Groups or individual
Experienced young sailors provide instruction in groups of up to 16 participants. Of course, you can also register your child individually via our website info@wsvbestevaer.nl.

For whom?
The summer sailing weeks are intended for all children aged 8 to 13 who would like to learn sailing or improve their skills. Lessons are given according to the CWO system. Classes take place at a wonderful location: a sheltered bay with a direct connection to Lake IJsselmeer.
Children who have participated before are, of course, very welcome again. All participants will receive a diploma or progress certificate.

When?
The sailing camp runs from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 13:00.
Location: Vooroever 14a, 1671 SG Medemblik
In 2025 the sailing weeks take place in:
- Week 29: 14 July – 18 July 2025
- Week 30: 21 July – 25 July 2025
- Week 33: 11 August – 15 August 2025
- Week 34: 18 August – 22 August 2025

Prices
1 week summer sailing: €225,-
If you book together with a brother, sister, friend or if your child is already a member of WSV Bestevaer, you will receive a €25 discount.
